l <br /> MINUTES February 2, 1995 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> be,that should an emergency such as this occur we would go to them for an emergency <br /> transfer." <br /> Mr. Cram questioned, "In previous budgets, probably the last one on record that <br /> we could have any verification for is probably going to be `93's as far as actual money <br /> spent in regards to this, is that true?" <br /> Mr. Doherty stated, "We're talking two different things here." "The moneys that <br /> have been spent traditionally, have been spent on hazardous waste collection days." <br /> Mr. Cram stated, "There are so many unknowns, when we present our budget as <br /> far as the transfer station,there's no way there are things we can figure in because it is <br /> strictly hypothetical situations, is that true?" <br /> Mr. McQuaid responded, "It's anticipated expense." <br /> Mr. Cram stated, "In previous budgets that we have submitted how close have we <br /> been to actually money spent?" <br /> Mr_ McQuaid responded, "We have been able in the past several years to turn back <br /> to the general account approximately $30,000.00." "I am cutting it that much closer <br /> now." "If we can return anything it won't be $30,000.00." <br /> Mr. Doherty stated, "We have had unanticipated things such as pollution control <br /> equipment such at SEMASS." "That cost has to be shared by all the participating towns." <br /> "That was unanticipated costs." <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "We had it in our budget, we may not have it now." <br /> Mr. Doherty stated, "The major factor for having the excessive amounts in the <br /> budget was that we didn't know what the tonnage was going to be." <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to approve the revised trash budget as presented, Mr. Doherty <br /> seconded. <br /> At this time 7:i5 p.m. Mr. Ball joined the meeting. <br /> 2.) Mr. Cram motioned to accept the minutes of January 26, 1995, Mr. Doherty <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br />
