MINUTES February 9, 1995 4 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Ball questioned Mr. Benway as to whether he received approval from the <br /> abutter affected by the variances. <br /> Mr. Benway stated, "I spoke with Mr. Kelleher, the abutter, who is very <br /> supportive." <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "We haven't heard from the abutter, Mr. Kelleher." "The <br /> Board did require Mr. Kelleher submit a letter stating no objection to the location of the <br /> proposed leaching facility." <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to forward approval for the installation of a septic system at <br /> 11 Bay Road contingent upon receipt of a letter from the abutter (Kelleher) stating no <br /> objection to the variance and contingent upon the sgccessful conveyance of the property <br /> to Mr. George Benway, III, Mr. Cram seconded, all agreed. <br /> NOTE: Mr. McQuaid stated, "For the record the Board of Health has approved <br /> this variance as an exception to their policy." <br /> 3.) Executive Secret 's and Selectmen's budget recommendations - Mr. McQuaid <br /> relayed, "There were a couple of adjustments in our department budget. " "They reduced <br /> our vehicle maintenance account by $1,250.00 on the assumption we receive a new town <br /> vehicle." <br /> Acknowledged. <br /> 4.) Special request for trash sticker - The secretary relayed, "A elderly resident carve <br /> in with her son who lives in Falmouth and requested a sticker for the son's car as she <br /> cannot dispose of her own trash." "I informed them they could retain a licensed hauler to <br /> dispose of their trash." "She would still like to request the Board allow a sticker for her <br /> son's car." <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to deny the request however, should their be a financial <br /> hardship the resident may request the Board's reconsideration in the matter, Mr. Cram <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> 5.) Draft Annual Report - Mr. Cram motioned to forward the report to the <br /> Selectmen's office for submittal in the 1994 Annual Town Report, Mr. Doherty seconded, <br /> all agreed. <br />
