MINUTES June 29, 1995 3 BOARD OF HEALTH Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Mr. Evans and I share the same concerns about selling shellfish off the back of a truck." "I would not be concerned if the truck was self- refrigerated." Mr. Ball questioned whether the sale of shellfish is their main source of income. Mr. McQuaid responded, "I am unsure." Mr. Cram commented, "Refrigeration, as far as lobsters, shellfish, etc. is always not totally adequate." "You do need water a lot of times." "This is a factor that should be considered." 01 Mr. McQuaid stated, "They did not include lobsters." Mr. Doherty commented, "There is nothing-to act on." "If they wish to come in we will discuss the matter at that time." Complaint -Insecticide spraying, Santuit Pond cranberry bog Mr. Evans relayed, "I received a complaint from a resident in the Santuit Woods area regarding the spraying of the cranberry bogs." ."Apparently, a helicopter sprayed the bogs and the resident was concerned." Mr. McQuaid relayed, "It is under the control of the pesticide bureau." "Complaints should be referred to their 800 number." Emergency Failure Certification - 13 Hornbeam Road Ms. Charlotte Amaral, tenant, was in attendance. Ms. Amaral stated, "On the 8th of this month I informed my landlord there was water running across my yard through my neighbors yard across Timberlane Road into the Pond." "It's raw sewage." "I gave him until the 15th when I called the Board of Health." "Mr. Evans came down and said the system was in failure and needed to be replaced." "A. letter was sent out to the landlord who lives in Melbourne, Florida." "Upon receipt of that letter I received a notice to evict." "It is now the 29th and raw sewage is still running across the road in massive quantities." "I have had this thing pumped three times, once by my landlord, twice by the tovN'n."
