MINUTES June 29, 1995 3 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Mr. Evans and I share the same concerns about selling <br /> shellfish off the back of a truck." "I would not be concerned if the truck was self- <br /> refrigerated." <br /> Mr. Ball questioned whether the sale of shellfish is their main source of income. <br /> Mr. McQuaid responded, "I am unsure." <br /> Mr. Cram commented, "Refrigeration, as far as lobsters, shellfish, etc. is always <br /> not totally adequate." "You do need water a lot of times." "This is a factor that should be <br /> considered." 01 <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "They did not include lobsters." <br /> Mr. Doherty commented, "There is nothing-to act on." "If they wish to come in <br /> we will discuss the matter at that time." <br /> Complaint -Insecticide spraying, Santuit Pond cranberry bog <br /> Mr. Evans relayed, "I received a complaint from a resident in the Santuit Woods <br /> area regarding the spraying of the cranberry bogs." ."Apparently, a helicopter sprayed the <br /> bogs and the resident was concerned." <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "It is under the control of the pesticide bureau." <br /> "Complaints should be referred to their 800 number." <br /> Emergency Failure Certification - 13 Hornbeam Road <br /> Ms. Charlotte Amaral, tenant, was in attendance. <br /> Ms. Amaral stated, "On the 8th of this month I informed my landlord there was <br /> water running across my yard through my neighbors yard across Timberlane Road into the <br /> Pond." "It's raw sewage." "I gave him until the 15th when I called the Board of Health." <br /> "Mr. Evans came down and said the system was in failure and needed to be replaced." "A. <br /> letter was sent out to the landlord who lives in Melbourne, Florida." "Upon receipt of that <br /> letter I received a notice to evict." "It is now the 29th and raw sewage is still running <br /> across the road in massive quantities." "I have had this thing pumped three times, once by <br /> my landlord, twice by the tovN'n." <br />
