5. <br /> MINUTES September 14, 1995 6 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the "Emergency Repair <br /> Certification" form. <br /> 7.) Invitation to 125th Anniversary Dinner - Acknowledged. <br /> i <br /> *****NEW BUSINESS***** <br /> Smoking Cessation Program for town employees <br /> Mr. Evans relayed, "The program will begifi October 4, 1995, @ 2:30 p.m.." <br /> "There will be 6, 1 hr. sessions on Wednesdays." <br /> Acknowledged. <br /> Letter from John Lounsbury to Executive Secrets re: Transfer Station sticker <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to deny the request to waive the fee, Mr. Ball seconded, all <br /> agreed. <br /> Draft letter of opposition from B.C.H.E..D. to Senator Rauschenbach re: Proposal to <br /> relinquish home rule <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to support the letter of opposition, Mr. Ball seconded, all <br /> agreed. <br /> 13 Wheelhouse Lane <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Back in April of this year the Board approved the septic <br /> system including a Bio-clere at 13 Wheelhouse Lane." "Due to space limitations a <br /> variance was granted at that time to exclude the reserve." "They applied to D.E.P. for the <br /> variance however, it was denied." "Subsequently, the engineer revised plans due to <br /> contours of the groundwater." "As plans were revised the engineer is requesting the <br /> Board approve the same variance as before." <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to grant a variance from Title V regulations which will entitle <br /> the engineer to install the system without a reserve, Mr. Cram seconded, all agreed. <br />
