/ S <br /> MINUTES September 17, 1998 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Evans commented, "Most people wouldn't understand it." <br /> Board members agreed. <br /> 5.) Willowbend sewer extension permit application - Mr. McQuaid relayed, <br /> `Villowbend has bought the subdivision in between Quinnaquisset and Spinnaker." "The <br /> subdivision was approved by the Planning Board and we approved it." "Now Willowbend <br /> has purchased this development and wants to expand and put up 38 individual private <br /> dwellings." "The subdivision will be connected to the sewer plant and town water." <br /> "Their plant can certainly accept the additional load." "It will require D.E.P. approval." <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to approve the sewer extension permit, Mr. Doherty seconded, <br /> all agreed. <br /> 6.) Request for engineer review permit application - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The <br /> builder involved in this remodeling job requested Board of Health sign-off and it turns out <br /> that this septic system was deemed in failure back in 1996." "It was upgraded to a Title <br /> V, I approved the plans, I did the final inspection." "It certainly is adequate for what the <br /> expansion is going to be." "It does not involve an additional bedroom it involves <br /> increasing the size of the kitchen, living room, taking out the downstairs bedroom, moving <br /> it upstairs and finishing off the upstairs." "There is no increase in bedrooms however, we. <br /> required they sign an affidavit which states any additional living space might require the <br /> review of an engineer to see that it's capable of handling the increased flow." <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to waive the engineer review requirement, Mr. Doherty <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> 7.) Variance requests - 11 Pond Street and 108 WadingPlace Road <br /> 11 Pond Street - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "This is a proposed upgrade." "The applicant is <br /> requesting a 3' sideline variance." "There is 4' to monitored groundwater." <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to grant a 3' sideline variance, Mr. Doherty seconded, all <br /> agreed. <br /> 108 Wading Place Road - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "This is a proposed upgrade to the <br /> existing dwelling." "No expansions are proposed." "The applicant is requesting a 4' <br /> sideline variance, a 10' variance from the foundation and a 1.25' sidewall variance." <br />
