He believes that the manufacturer is well <br /> trained on doing the Fast system. That part of the equation he doesn't have a <br /> problem with. Again, the engineer has to certify that. But, he is more concerned <br /> with the overall installation. <br /> Mr. Sanicki asked if Mr. Harrington would need him to be there daily, an 8- <br /> hour day. Mr. Sanicki then stated that he asked Matt (?) to do the 8-hour day <br /> every time for all the time the contractor is there. He is digging a hole and <br /> putting a unit in the ground. He'll have an elevation. His problem is to have an <br /> engineer stand there and watch the tank put in the ground is a waste of money. <br /> You have to put it the grades to make this thing come out or he'll be shafted. <br /> Mr. Ball then suggested that they have steps. <br /> Ms. Warden stated that that sounded logical. <br /> Mr. Sanicki said that he could see possibly, if the BOH is concerned primarily <br /> with the leaching facility. At the time the leaching facility is going in it may be a <br /> one or two operation per day to monitor that portion of the project. They will be <br /> giving the installer grade stakes. That wouldn't be a problem. <br /> Mr. Ball then referred to the plan again and asked Mr. Sanicki that once "this" <br /> is installed. Mr. Sanicki will have to come out and look at it before it is back- <br /> filled. <br /> Mr. Sanicki agreed that he would have to do just that. Similar to when the <br /> whole leaching facility is set in the ground. They'll look at it prior to back-filling <br /> it. He had no intention of standing and watching them put everything in the <br /> hole. The plans say put pipe A here at this elevation and boost this up, etc. <br /> Ms. Warden joined the conversation again by stating that what they were more <br /> concerned about is that once all of the pipes were put in. He would go out and <br /> arbitrarily pick a few elevations to make sure that they are done properly. <br /> Mr. Harrington interjected that it wasn't even so much the elevations than it is <br /> the actual construction of the system. Even though it is not that hard to do. He <br /> doesn't have a comfort level that the contractors on the Cape do a lot of the <br /> pressure distribution. Just for that part of it. <br /> Mr. Ball then asked if Mr. Harrington and Mr. Sanicki could go out together <br /> when this happens. <br />
