11 <br /> Mr. Sanicki then asked if ajoint meeting was what was required by the BOH. <br /> He was more than willing to do whatever was needed to get the job done. <br /> Mr. Harrington agreed that he would like that. . <br /> Mr. Ball then asked what type of notice would be needed to accomplish this <br /> task. <br /> Ms. Warden stated that they were pretty flexible and twenty-four hour notice <br /> would be fine. <br /> Mr. Sanicki stated that they were going out for bids for contractors. If the <br /> contractor could provide Cape & Islands with a prospectus schedule as to how <br /> he is going to complete this project. Mr. Sanicki will provide the Board with a <br /> copy of this schedule. He intends to check each piece as it goes in. Where the <br /> contractor is right up the straight. He is going to have to work himself in or out <br /> of the place. He may start by putting the leaching facility in and work his way <br /> out. <br /> Mr. Harrington stated that where there are pumps involved that's probably not <br /> a bad way to do it. It's not going to hurt him to do that first anyway. <br /> Mr. Sanicki stated that if the contractor puts the leaching facility in. He won't <br /> have the pump put in until far later. He won't leave this exposed until Mr. <br /> Sanicki gets the pump chamber in. He can't shut the whole project down for <br /> this request. He then remembered that he also forgot to tell the BOH that he is <br /> going to have to relocate a water main. He is going to have to encase it and run <br /> it around this particular section. Conservation just approved he project. <br /> Mr. Ball stated that he had no problem with this plan. Personally he is glad he <br /> went this way. He knew that Mr. Sanicki was thinking about individual <br /> denitrification systems. <br /> Mr. Sanicki stated that individual denitrification systems would have been <br /> more expensive to do it that way. <br /> Mr. Harrington stated that you get better treatment out of the system that was <br /> chosen for this particular site. The units that stay seasonal are not going to <br /> meet the discharge requirements. You would have systems fail and the DEP <br /> would have gotten upset because you are not meeting your discharge <br /> requirements. Just having two units that stay year round in there will keep <br /> that system operating. That is all it is going to take to keep the bacteria there <br /> and keep the system operating. If there is no bacteria there it will take three <br /> months for it to regenerate to get the treatment back. That is why the seasonal <br /> IA systems are really kind of unreasonable. <br /> Lastly Mr. Sanicki asked the BOH to write up the specifications for monitoring <br /> the project. He will notify the association of what is being required by the <br /> Board. <br />
