It is just <br /> restaurants and bars that smoking is allowed inside of dwellings. <br /> Mr. Ball asked if it was allowed to smoke in police cars. <br /> Ms. Warden stated that there was no smoking in town vehicles. <br /> C. Fee Schedule: Flu shots, Septic Repairs, Food Service Re-inspections, No Shows <br /> on Perk Tests and Septic Exam. <br /> Ms. Warden began by stating that they were discussing a fee for the flu shots. <br /> The idea was that if they charged a nominal amount for the shot that the funds <br /> collected could be used to order more flu vaccine from a pharmacy rather than <br /> the state. This would allow for more clinics. <br /> Mr. Ball asked how many flu shots were delivered per year. <br /> Mr. Harrington replied that they delivered 1100 flu shots per year. <br /> Mr. Ball asked what the fee would be. <br /> Mr. Harrington replied that it would be $3.00 to $5.00. Barnstable uses $3.00 <br /> but they have been pushing to go to $5.00. At $5.00 you don't have to break up <br /> the dollars and it is easy to collect and count the money. <br /> Mr. Santos asked if the town has been applying it for free. <br /> Ms. Warden confirmed that it has been free. The town still pays the VNA costs. <br /> The derogatory comments thrown at the health agents are not worth it. <br /> Mr. Ball asked for the average age of the people that are being served. He wanted <br /> an average of the age of the people over 50. <br /> Mr. Harrington responded that approximately 90% are at least over 50 years of <br /> age. <br /> Mr. Ball interjected that most of the people are retired that are receiving these <br /> shots. They are on fixed income. His opinion is that he would not support the <br /> increase or the fee. <br /> Ms. Warden stated it could be $1.00, which would add up to $1100.00. <br /> Mr. Ball replied that it didn't matter. He felt our taxes were high enough. He said <br /> it wasn't worth the paperwork for $1.00. <br /> Mr. Santos said that he would entertain a fee on the flu shots if Ms. Warden <br />
