He is looking to charge them for the <br /> extra trips they are making out to the site. <br /> Mr. Ball asked what the policy was right now. <br /> Mr. Harrington stated that two is required. He is looking for a $25.00 fine for <br /> each time, which can accrue until they get their next permit or until the end of <br /> the year. <br /> Ms. Warden continued that the next request, for the food service inspection, is <br /> the same thing. It would be two a year and any further will be $25.00 per <br /> inspection. <br /> Mr. Harrington continued that it is up to the BOH to set that fee and should be <br /> discussed. He would also like to charge the full $75.00 fee for no-show on peres. <br /> The Town of Barnstable pre-pays everything and if the engineer doesn't show <br /> then the money goes in the till. <br /> Mr. Harrington continued that the septic exam right now is policy it is not <br /> actually on the fee schedule. He was looking to just get the board's approval to <br /> include it on the written fee schedule at $50.00. <br /> Ms. Warden added that the septic exam was policy. But, nothing is in writing <br /> with the BOH's policy. Mr. Harrington is trying to create another book with the <br /> BOH's policies. <br /> Mr. Ball asked if the fee should be increased for the septic exam. <br /> Mr. Harrington responded that $50.00 for the septic exam was plenty. Right now <br /> if the after six months into the new year, their license lapse. They have to take <br /> the exam. He feels it is a bit of a stiff penalty. However, the $50.00 is fine if it <br /> was a previous policy and accepted. It is up to the board's discretion. <br /> Ms. Warden interjected that what happens with having that policy in place. It <br /> does make the installers study instead of just chancing it. <br /> Mr. Ball also suggested that the board members should take the exam after a <br /> certain amount of time. <br /> Mr. Harrington agreed stating that it was a good exam.
