10
As far as her property goes, she cannot go out and mow the lawn, her husband has
to do because she has asthma. He has worked an inordinate amount of time this
year because of the storms. He has been forced to work. He works for the telephone
company. He mows the lawn when he can get to it.
She spent$22,000.00 redoing the barn. There are all brand new shingles on the
barn. She tries to keep the place looking very good. She has a lot of work to do. She
wants to plant maple trees and flowers. She doesn't have the time to do that. Her
manure trailer leaves the property every single Tuesday morning and is dumped. It
was full on Monday and not an inordinate amount of manure for seven days. She
did not have it covered because she had one of those plastic tops. It keeps flying off
and it rips. It's a pain in the butt.
As far as Mr. Proverb goes and his complaints, yes she does leave her house
sometimes Friday or Saturday, most of the time Sunday morning, because they
show the horse from April 15th until the last show last Thursday (September 27th.,
2001 . They leave at 2:30, 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning. Last year there was a
situation where her husband left the sprinklers on in-doors and flooded it. She
couldn't bring the trailer into the indoor because it would have sunk right up to it's
hilt. So they had to load for two weeks out on the road. Her horses go into the
trailer with a lead shank around their neck and walk into the trailer. Yeah, they
are heavy animals so they are going to make noise. It didn't help that at 3:30 in the
morning Mr. Proverb scared the living crap out of her. That's why he has a no
trespassing order. He is out at 4:00 in the morning. She can't use her truck or
vehicles. They are all registered. She pays insurance, taxes and excise taxes. She
has tried to alleviate every single complaint. This is the first time in twenty times
that various departments from this Town have found anything wrong. Number one
the manure trailer wasn't covered and number two she was trying to fill a ditch
that Mrs. Lapio dug underneath to let the stuff drain down into their driveway. She
believed the last few rainstorms that we've had. They haven't had the flooding
because she is trying to alleviate that situation too.
Talk about being a good neighbor. Every single Sunday she comes home from a
horse show. She is tired. She's driven to New Hampshire or Vermont. Mr. Proverb's
van is parked right in front of her arena door. She can't get the trailer in. She has
to wait for her husband for him to back the trailer in.
Mr. Proverb interrupted Mrs. Murphy and asked, "Is it parked in front of my house
or in front of the arena door?" He answered his own question by stating that it was
parked in front of his house. Mr. Proverb stated that he has moved it several times.
Mrs. Murphy stated that she couldn't swing her trailer. She feels that he is not
being a good neighbor because he knows every single Sunday if they've left at 3:45
in the morning then they will return between 3:00 and 5:00 in the afternoon. That
van is there every single weekend. She stated that it works both ways. She is trying
very hard. She doesn't know what else she can do.
She feeds her horses alfalfa and "Timothy Cubes". There just like hay except that
