7
Landscaping—Ed Adams.
-October 8 meeting has been set with Mahoney to discuss donation of landscape items from them.
-Ed doesn't think much landscaping will be done this Fall. The front and sides of the building will get
sod and perhaps some trees this fall. Hydro seeding will be done next spring.
-Mashpee Commons asked that we keep islands empty for now and they'll tie them in with what
they're going to do on theirs.
-In reviewing the Landscape Plan it was mentioned that fire trucks cannot get around the side of the
building where air conditioners and trees are. Ernest Virgilio will confer with the Fire Chief to be sure
the Fire Department signs off on adequate access to the building.
FUNDRAISING.
-FMSC is doing the well and irrigation procurement.
-Iry stated that future requirements will include money for sod and some vegetation. The FMSC will
probably have funds to cover these items.
-$800.00 for power for the well hookup is coming through FMSC.
SEPTIC SYSTEM AND ROAD REALIGNMENT.
-Road realignment and septic system issue is currently with the DEP and hopefully will be resolved in
next two weeks. Mashpee Commons is going ahead with the design and planning to put in this fall
and be done by December.
DISCUSSION
Iry stated a Chairperson is needed for the Senior Center Opening Committee. The Chairperson would
have to set up a program, put together an invitation list, and provide for a catering service for food.
NEXT MEETING
Tuesday, October 12, 2004, at 1:30 p.m., Meeting Room 2.
Adjournment
As there was no further business the meeting was adjourned at 3:00 PM.
Re
spectfully submitted,
J -
Acting Recor ng Secretary
3
