MEETING OF JANUARY 6, 1998 <br />JOINT MEETING - LEISURE SERVICES AND SCHOOL COMMITTEE <br />The meeting was called to order by School Committee Vice Chairwoman <br />Theresa Cook and began at 3:06 p.m. <br />Problems at the schools were identified. <br />Sigh School: <br />Nutcracker - lack of supervision; food in auditorium; soda spilled in piano. <br />Organizations - need to provide appropriate supervision prior to use. Perhaps <br />the use of a custodian. <br />Ouashnet Vallem: <br />Mr. Tippo explained that it was very difficult. Rooms were not available to hold <br />classes at 2:30. It was suggested that we wait until 3:00 p.m. or 3:45 p.m. <br />Mr. Williams suggested that the form be changed to a check -off by principal for <br />a policeman to be present. <br />KCC: <br />Mr. Feldman expressed a concern over the use of second room. <br />Mrs. Doyle requested a list of participating students for each program. <br />The meeting concluded at 3:40 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Lincoln A.
