LEISURE SERVICES ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 3, 1998 <br />MASHPEE TOWN HALL - 6:30 PM <br />Present: Absent: Also Present: <br />Sheila Arnold Ken Marsters Gus Frederick <br />Scott Chausse Kim Whitney <br />Pat Riley Pat Antonellis <br />Terrie Cook <br />I. Openin : Sheila Arnold opened the meeting at 6:35 PM. <br />II. Minutes: Terrie Cook made a motion to approve the minutes of January, and Pat <br />Riley seconded. Motion carried. <br />III. Communications: Gus Frederick went over a memorandum from Dr. DeMoura <br />regarding summer building usage. No one should be in the building after 4:30 <br />PM. Terrie Cook discussed all the cleaning work that needed to get done during <br />the summer. The issue last summer was that all the custodial work could not get <br />done. <br />Gus Frederick mentioned that a cleaning schedule would be put together for our <br />own staff. Most of the cleaning supplies will be the responsibility of Leisure <br />Services. Bathroom use will be designated so that all bathrooms are not being <br />used. Each program should be adequately supervised. <br />Gus Frederick discussed the two missing basketballs from the high school gym. <br />We will replace them, as the Teen Center was using them. <br />A discussion took place regarding mopping the floor in the gym, as there was an <br />incident in the evening when an adult fell while in the gym. <br />IV. Old Business - <br />New Advisory Council Member. Don McCuish is interested in joining Leisure <br />Services Advisory Council. <br />Focus Groups - This is being worked on by each team. <br />
