** Ms. Ahlgren made a motion to ask Bob Whritenour to share <br /> the appraisal information with George Benway and make him <br /> a technical representative for appraisals to the <br /> Committee for the purpose of assigning a value to the <br /> properties. Mr. Griffin seconded the motion . All <br /> members were in favor.** <br /> Mr. Dinizio explained there has been discussion recently which <br /> borders on inappropriate or illegal . People are using this <br /> information for their own argument. He cautioned everyone that <br /> this appraisal information is confidential and it is important <br /> they do not discuss the amounts. Anyone who does discuss it is <br /> jeopardizing the town and the high school project. <br /> SELECTMEN'S MEETING <br /> The Selectmen voted and decided that town meeting will choose <br /> between the sites . The choice of sites will be the first vote, <br /> which needs a majority vote, and then the money article, which is <br /> 2/3 vote. <br /> MEETING WITH DR. COLLABRO - EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANT <br /> Dr . Collabro' s response to the RFP was distributed last week. He <br /> is present tonight to discuss his fees with the Committee. <br /> The Committee decided, because this is a contract negotiation , to <br /> go into executive session . <br /> The Committee explained to Bob Whritenour their conversation with <br /> George Benway and they thought he would be useful in helping the <br /> Committee and Mr. Whritenour come up with a budgetary amount for <br /> town meeting . <br /> Mr. Whritenour said he had no problem with Mr. Benway ' s <br /> assistance. He thinks there is plenty of money with the $27 . 7 <br /> million. There is nothing wrong with a contingency amount but he <br /> is not prepared to increase it to the assessed values. If the <br /> Committee questions the appraised value , they should have the <br /> appraisers in to talk about their work . <br /> Mr. Dinizio stated there are town official talking about the <br /> appraisals, in public. They should not be talking about the <br /> difference between appraised and assessed value in public. This <br /> is supposed to be confidential information . The public does not <br /> need to know this information. <br /> Mr. Whritenour said no one should discuss the value of individual <br /> parcels or ownerships. It would do a disservice to the property <br /> • owner and could effect the town 's negotiations. <br /> We need to have a sound amount to recommend to town meeting , <br /> based on solid data. <br /> Ms. Ahlgren explained the Committee asked Mr. Benway to be <br />
