Gas is not immediately available but the gas <br /> company will probably make it available for this project. <br /> Gary Larson has investigated aerial photos re: survey . Both <br /> sites were flown in 1990 . The architect could start working with <br /> that information immediately. <br /> Archeological investigation - they will be checking with the <br /> State archeologist. They will also check with the historical <br /> commission (Hazel Oakley) . The Committee suggested they contact <br /> the State Commissioner of Indian Affairs, Jon Peters, who is from <br /> Mashpee. Any project over $10 million, publicly funded , requires <br /> an EIR and that automatically goes to the State archeologist. <br /> Bill Jones stated this could be a hazard in getting the building <br /> completed on schedule. Is there a difference between a graveyard <br /> and an archeological find? <br /> Carl explained there are specific regulations dealing with <br /> graveyards, potential archeological sites is unknown. The Executive Summary <br /> is most useful up front to get to bottom line immediately. Areas <br /> . of investigation for each of the criteria will be factual and <br /> objective. The comparison will be in the summary. Appendix will <br /> include consultant reports. <br /> Carl asked about incorporating the appraisal work into the <br /> report? Mr. Dinizio stated hopefully all the information will be <br /> available by Nov. 15th. The cost will only be one of many <br /> factors. Mr. Griffin stated it would be nice to have it in total <br /> form, all the pieces of information in a single source. <br /> Mr. Dinizio will talk with Bob Writenhour again about the <br /> appraisal work. The Committee would like a preliminary <br /> report/update from them on or about Nov. 1st. <br /> Bill Jones asked if the Committee will write their own report to <br /> include the report by DRA? <br /> The Committee will use this report to make a decision , to make a <br /> recommendation. Mr. Griffin thinks it should be a simple <br /> gathering of the information without all backup facts; a summary. <br /> Presentation at Town Meeting. Carl envisions enlarging the <br /> matrix, they can put it on slide format and a handout. Can put <br /> the plans, colored, on a slide format. They could be on boards <br /> on easels at the back of the meeting. The Committee discussed <br /> the options for presentation . Mr Dinizio explained they only <br /> used a handout with the facts for the addition and it worked <br /> • successfully. Keep it as simple as possible. Mr. Greelish <br /> suggested having a brief introduction before the start of the <br /> meeting , with the Committee acting as hosts and set information <br /> 2 <br />
