The Committee <br /> agreed to keep it. <br /> Paul said he received a call from Bob Hines regarding a unique sewage <br /> treatment system he has designed . It is not yet Title V approved. Paul <br /> told him to call Elias McQuaid. <br /> The cost for a 50,000 gallon per day system is $600,000 and you don ' t need <br /> a building. <br /> Mr. Hines has had several meetings with DEP and they are intrigued. He has <br /> systems operating all over the country . <br /> A smaller system, he said, would cost about $400 ,000. He is also concerned these cuts may not add up to $3 <br /> million in savings. The Committee should agree to proceed but set a <br /> timetable to look at other things to get it down another $200-300, 000 . <br /> ** Paul recommended SMMA proceed with Construction Documents with the <br /> understanding that we get the budget down to $20,800 ,000.
