Mashpee High School Project Management CCG12Q4Mn7M /ANDREW CHARTWELL 8 CO
6.0 Construction Schedule and Time Control
6.1 Construction Schedule: see comment as 5.1 above.
6.2 'Primavera' is the Contractor's intended CPM software.
6.3 Interim submissions and written reports of matters likely to have an impact on the
Critical Path(s) are to be sought from the Contractor in the event of a slippage to
Schedule arising.
7.0 Site Meetings
7.1 Forthnightly Project progress coordination meetings will be held with the Contractor.
ACC/COW will attend. A suitable day is to be agreed with the Contractor. SMMA will
prepare and distribute the minutes of the said meetings. ACC will keep independent
notes and will convey any additional comments to SMMA upon receipt of the draft
minutes. The aim is that the second (end-of the-month) meeting will be timed to
coincide with the interim payment requisition and that it will be held prior to the
monthly Building Committee meeting.
7.2 Coordination meetings between the Contractor and his subcontractors will be held
on a weekly basis. Minutes of these meetings will be prepared and distributed by
the Contractor with a copy to SMMA and ACC. Ordinarily, SMMA will not attend this
meeting series. The aim is that the COW will attend.
7.3 SMMA confirmed that the Contractor will be attending the meetings of the Building
Committee.
8.0 Hours of Work at Site
8.1 ACC sought clarification on the policy to be adopted in the event that the Contractor
seeks overtime, double-shift or week-end working, particularly as it would impact
the workload of the COW. The Contractor's normal working hours should be sought
as soon as possible. SMMA replied that no provision exists under the Contract for
the recovery of additional supervision or observation costs from the Contractor
(through the Owner). ACC considered that the matter required further study.
9.0 Site Safety and First Aid
9.1 SMMA confirmed that all aspects relating to site safety, including emergency
procedures, are a matter for the Contractor.
Sheet 4 of 6 Administration of the Project May 4, 1995
