I� <br /> by the Board of Selectmen. Violations will result <br /> in a citation under this regulation or may be <br /> subject to various state penalties including fines, <br /> imprisonment and/or damages sought by the grant- <br /> holder. <br /> 8. No person( s ) shall take or have in their possession <br /> amounts of shellfish in excess of the daily or <br /> weekly limits se,t forth by the Board of Selectmen. <br /> The limits are set forth as follows : <br /> A. Family Catch Limits � <br /> 1 ) Soft-Shell Clams One ( 1 ) peck per week <br /> 2 ) Quahogs One ( 1 ) peck per week <br /> 3 ) Scallops( during <br /> scallop season <br /> October 1 through <br /> March 31 ) Four ( 4 ) pecks per week <br /> 4 ) Razor Clams One ( 1 ) peck per week <br /> 5 ) Mussels One ( 1 ) peck per week <br /> B. Commercial Catch Limits <br /> 1 ) Soft-Shell Clams One ( 1 ) bushel per day <br /> 2 ) Quahogs Two ( 2 ) bushels per day <br /> 3 ) Scallops ( during <br /> scallop season <br /> only October 1 <br /> through March 31 . <br /> Dip nets only <br /> during October, <br /> dragging allowed <br /> November 1 through ';I <br /> March 31 ) Ten ( 10 ) bushels per day �! <br /> 4 ) Mussels One ( 1 ) bushel per day i! <br /> Increases or reductions in catch limits may be <br /> subject to change. Changes will be published <br /> and/or posted according to policy. <br /> A "Family shellfishing week" begins on Sunday and <br /> ends the following Saturday. :i <br /> 9 . Seed Shellfish - For the purpose of definition, ' <br /> shellfish are considered to be seed if they are <br /> measured and found to be less than the minimum '' <br /> harvesting size or other means of determination !I <br /> as set forth by the State of Massachusetts . Those '' <br /> sizes are as follows : ' <br /> Soft-shell clams, quahogs and mussels - two inches <br /> in the longest dimension of their shell . <br />
