Town of Mashpee <br /> Public Hearing Notice <br /> The Mashpee Board of Selectmen will conduct a public hearing at 7 : 15 <br /> p.m. on Monday, September 28, 1992 for the purpose of discussing and <br /> taking action on the following recommendations of the Shellfish <br /> Commission: <br /> 1 . 1992-93 Scallop Regulations - Copies of the proposed regulations <br /> will be available for inspection in the Selectmen's office as of <br /> noon on September 11, 1992 . <br /> 2 . That the Board of Selectmen shall approve the corrections in the <br /> 1992 Mashpee Shellfish Regulations as follows : <br /> "Quahogs are undersize (seed) if they measure less than 1 inch <br /> in thickness . This replaces the old definition of undersize <br /> quahogs being less than 2 inches in the longest dimension. " <br /> Article III, 2 - add "or gauge" after the word "ring" <br /> Article III, 4 - add "or gauge" after the word "ring" <br /> Article III, 9a - delete the word "quahogs" <br /> Article III, 9d - add "Quahogs 11 as the first word <br /> - delete " (hinge width) " <br /> The 1991-92 Scallop Regulations are still in effect .
