To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Leisure Service Revolving Account through the Town Accountant's Office in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 44, Section 53E 1/2, to be expended under the direction of the Leisure Service Department, in order to place revenues collected from the various Leisure Services Child Development Programs, which shall be used for the purpose of paying wages and benefits to conduct said Leisure Service programs, and to establish the limit on expenditures from said account for Fiscal Year 1997 at $22,431.84, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Leisure Service Department Motion Article 5 be voted as printed in the warrant, with the exception of the phrase, "or take any other action relating thereto". Motion passes at 7:43 p.m. Article 6. To see if the Town will raise and appropriate, transfer from available funds or borrow pursuant to G.L. c. 44, §7 (9A) or other lawful authority, the sum of$85,000 for the purpose of renovating and rehabilitating the 1989 Fire Department pumper, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Fire & Rescue Department Motion The sum of $85,000 be appropriated for the purpose of renovating and rehabilitating the 1989 Fire Department pumper, including costs incidental and relating thereto, and that to raise this appropriation, the Town Treasurer, with the approval of the Board of Selectmen, is authorized to borrow $85,000 in accordance with Chapter 44, Section 7 (9A), of the General Laws, or any other enabling authority, and to issue bonds or notes of the Town therefor. Motion passes unanimously at 7:44 p.m. i Article 7. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds $15,000 to the Board of Health's Expense Account, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Board of Health Motion The Town vote to appropriate and transfer from revenue available for appropriation $15,000 to the Board of Health Expense Account. Motion passes at 7:45 p.m.
