Article 49. k To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning Bylaw by amending Article XIII ! "Groundwater Protection District" as follows: In Section 174-79.A.(1) after the words entitled "Groundwater Protection District, Town of Mashpee," add: and on a map dated October 1996 entitled "Additional Groundwater Protection District, Town of Mashpee," In Section 174-79.B. add subsection: (8) Including all of the land within the following described lines: All of the land labeled "Zone II" on the map dated October 1996 entitled "Additional Groundwater Protection District." or take any other action thereto. j Submitted by Petition Motion by Kathy Lynch: Accept Article 49 except remove the language, " or take any other action thereto". Pat Coffey: Planning Board was unable to review this article for technical reasons, it was not posted on a public hearing warrant. Moderator: Since there was no hearing I cannot entertain the article. Motion to indefinitely postpone carries at 10:17 p.m. Article 50. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate, or transfer from available funds, the sum of $5,000 as the Town's share to the Lake and Pond Grant Program for Mashpee Wakeby Pond and the Mashpee River for a Watershed Management Plan. Further, to direct the Board of Selectmen to file the Department of Environmental Management Lake and Pond Grant Program application by December 31, 1996. Said funds to be administered by the Board of Selectmen. Submitted by Petition Motion: The Town vote to transfer from revenue available for appropriation the sum of $5,000 as the Town's share to the Lake and Pond Grant Program for Mashpee Wakeby Pond and the Mashpee River for a Watershed Management Plan; and further, to authorize the Board of Selectmen to file the Department of Environmental Management Lake and Pond Grant Program application by December 31, 1996. Said funds to be administered by the Board of Selectmen. a Motion passes at 10:20 p.m.
