If, after 14 days <br /> from receipt of written notice from the Fire Chief or his designee or the <br /> Operations Manager of the Mashpee Water District or his designee of an <br /> obstructed hydrant a property owner does not remove such an obstruction, said <br /> obstruction may be removed by the town at the owner's expense, or take any <br /> other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Fire Chief <br /> Explanation: This new provision will assist the Fire Rescue Department and the <br /> Mashpee Water District in assuring accessibility to the Town's fire hydrants. <br /> Motion made by David Leveille. <br /> Motion: I move Article 25 be approved as printed in the warrant with the <br /> exception of the phrase, "or take any other action related thereto." <br /> Motion passes at 7:37pm. <br /> Article 26 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend the zoning bylaw by adding the following <br /> new subsection B.(15) to Section 174-25 Table of Use Regulations: <br /> "(15) Expansion of commercial campground in existence on October 5, 1998, by <br /> not more than 33% in area." <br /> and to indicate that said use is allowed only in the R-5 zoning district, subject to <br /> the Plan Review process, by adding the letters "PR" under the "R-5" column of <br /> said Table of Use Regulations and leaving all other columns blank, or take any <br /> other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: This article would allow minor expansion of existing commercial <br /> campgrounds. It is submitted as part of negotiations regarding the purchase of <br /> land from the MacDonald Land Trust for conservation purposes which was <br /> approved at the May, 1998 Annual Town Meeting. <br /> Motion made by Ken Marsters. <br /> Motion: I move Article 26 be approved as printed in the warrant except to <br /> replace the phrase "Subsection B.(15)" with "Subsection B.(16)" and replace <br /> "(15)"with "(16)" in said Subsection <br /> And to delete the phrase, "or take any other action relating thereto." <br />
