�f <br /> Subsection 174-24.C. The following shall be considered examples of <br /> such conditional home occupations: <br /> (a) Home professional offices for engineers, planners, architects, <br /> consultants, lawyers, accountants, physicians, other licensed <br /> medical practitioners, realtors, insurance agents and members <br /> of similar professions; <br /> (b) Barber shops and beauty parlors, limited to one chair; <br /> (c) Small repair shops such as watch and clock repair, small <br /> appliance repairs and similar uses; <br /> (d) Private livery services with no more than one (1) vehicle and <br /> land-based facilities associated with water-dependent uses <br /> such as water-tour craft and charter fishing boats carrying six <br /> (6) clients or less or similar uses; <br /> (e) Incidental work and storage in connection with the off- <br /> premises business of a builder, carpenter, painter, plumber, <br /> electrician, mason or other artisan, tree surgeon, landscape <br /> contractor or similar occupation. <br /> (2) Application procedures. Applicants must submit an application to the j <br /> Zoning Board of Appeals for a Special Permit under the provisions of <br /> Section 174-24.C. The Zoning Board of Appeals may grant a Special <br /> Permit if it reasonably concludes from the evidence that the proposed <br /> home occupation will meet the standards set out in Section 174-24.C. <br /> and this section. The Board may impose, if warranted by the <br /> evidence, additional conditions as may be deemed necessary to <br /> protect the legitimate use and enjoyment of neighboring properties, <br /> including a limit on the time said permit may remain in force or <br /> provisions for automatic rescission under certain circumstances. <br /> (3) In addition to the general criteria listed under Subsection D., the <br /> following standards shall apply to conditional home occupations: <br /> (a) Not more than two (2) people who are not members of the <br /> household may be employed on the premises in connection <br /> with the home occupation. <br /> (b) Not more than two (2) additional parking spaces other than <br /> those required for the residence and two (2) spaces for <br /> employees shall be allowed. Parking shall be screened using <br /> natural plantings or fencing so as to be non-offensive to 1 y <br /> abutting lots. Any need for parking generated by such use <br /> shall be met on the same lot containing the home occupation <br /> and may not be located within twenty-five (25) feet of the <br /> front property line or within five (5) feet of any side or rear l <br /> property line. <br /> 36 <br />
