Mashpee Commons Mr. Hanrahan read the memo from the Fire Department confirming that the fire and safety measures on Mashpee Commons Building 11B met with their approval. John Sullivan The Board reviewed a letter from Attorney Kevin M. Kirrane on the remand of the John Sullivan petition And -agreed to a remand hearing. Little River Boatyard Members sitting: William Hanrahan, Cheryl Hawver, Richard Halpern The Board reviewed the parking plans for the boatyard. There was discussion that Design Review had been asked for advisory opinions and the Board agreed to meet at the site on Monday, June 19, 1989 with representatives of the Design Review Committee. • John Malloy - Requests a Special Permit under Section 6, subsection 19 of the Land Use Requirements to construct and maintain a walkway, pier, ramp, float and dock facility in an R-3 zoning district for property located at Lot 166 Whippoorwill Circle (Map 125, Parcel 151) Mashpee, MA. Remanded to the Board of Appeals by the Barnstable Superior Court. Members sitting: William Hanrahan, Michael Makunas, Richard Halpern Mr. Hanrahan stated that he had reviewed all of the shellfish studies presented by the Shellfish Constable and Sabatia. Mr. Halpern stated he had listened to all the arguments and said that the case is under the old by-law and, in his opinion, the dock will not be detrimental to the environment. Mr. Halpern moved to grant the Special Permit as requested. Mr Makunas seconded. All agreed. Mr. Hanrahan and Mr. Somerville discussed the Petition. Reorganization of the Board of Appeals - Mr. Hanrahan proposed the following slate ofofficers for the Board of Appeals: Cheryl Hawver, Chairman; Michael Makunas, Vice Chairman, and William J. Hanrahan, Clerk. Mr. Hanrahan moved to approve, Mr. Makunas seconded, all agreed. • There was discussion on policies of the Board regarding the press. It was agreed that there should be no discussion of cases before the Board with the press or with any other interested parties. Ms. Hawver suggested the Board review policies and procedures at a future meeting. Ms. Hawver moved to postpone acceptance of the minutes of the May 24, 1989 meeting until a future meeting .
