• <br />Board of Appeals <br />Minutes July 12, 1989 <br />Disscussion- George Thorng- Arrow Engineering. <br />Page 7. <br />He is here to have a plan appoved. On March 22, 1989, the <br />Board of Appeals approved this stairway and pier off the Mashpee <br />River for John Morgan Lot #3 River Rd. on May 18, 1989 they went <br />before the Conservation Commission and they felt that running a <br />fixed stairway along the bank might cause erosion in a heavy <br />down pour. They were concerned of it washing out. Their suggestions <br />were to reverse the bank in a zig-zag fashion and try to avoid <br />the trees at the bottom of the bank. he went out with the survey <br />crew and the client and they located a path that they thought wss <br />suitable, they located all the trees, and he redesigned the <br />stairway and he has the new plan to show the Board of Appeals. <br />He goes befor the Conservation C. tomorrow night. <br />Michaeal Makunas moved that the grant the minor changes <br />requested. cheryl. Hawver seconded. <br />William Hanraban abstained. He stated that John Morgan is a customer <br />of his . <br />Discussion - Mark Cohen from the Donut Shop <br />• Basically he is requesting a minor permit extension, he would <br />like to serve sandwiches at his shop. He is requesting approval <br />of minor alterations. <br />W. Hanrahan asked if he is going to have any sitting. He is not. <br />Mr. Boyd stated that basically any thing over 1000 square feet <br />it has to go before the Board of Appeals. <br />Michael Makunas made a motion that it is not required for <br />Mr. Cohen to come before them for this request. <br />William Hanrahan seconded.
