Board of Appeals Minutes _September 13, 1989 page 2.
• prices for it, they had it in the purchase and sale agreement that
it would be commercial property. They spent over a year going to
meetings just to make sure all the papers were in order.
Ms. Hawver asked if he was involved when it went to Town meeting.
Mr. Trottier stated that he was, but he was not allowed to speak because
he was a resident of Forestdale.
Ms. Hawver was concerned about the intent of the abutters at that
meeting.
Mr. Trottier stated that they basically applied at that point to
straighten out the zoning. At that point when he asked about the status
of the property, they had it down as a farm stand and a gas station
in which the pumps had been removed many years previous and they had
no interest of selling gas. They basically wanted to get the papers
straightened out so they could purchase the property.
Mr. Hanrahan asked if this release was granted how many cars would
they be selling.
Mr. Trottier stated that there would be no more than four cars
up front at any time, maybe two would be in the process of repairing
which would make six cars.
• Mr. Makunas questined whether or not they had repair plates.
Mr. Trottier explained that they do for the liability of driving
a customers car. He is under the idea that he might have to apply for
dealer plates because of the liability that repair plates they have are
for only company employees, not for customers who would be test driving
a car.
No one in the audience had any questions.
Mr. Makunas moved that they take this under advisement pending
the research that needs to be done.
William Hanrahan seconded.
All agreed.
I•
