Board of Appeals Minutes - October 11, 1989 Page 6. <br />Mr. Makunas moved to take the petition under advisement in hopes that <br />by the next meeting there would be information that there is not a problem <br />• with the residents opposed and those in favor. Mr. Halpern seconded. <br />All agreed. <br />Mr. Gauthier asked for the Board's guidance if they had a statement <br />from the Board of Directors in favor of the project would that be <br />sufficient. He said they would never be able to resolve the one <br />objection. <br />Mr. Halpern suggested they discuss the possibility of keeping both <br />resources. <br />• <br />• <br />Robert L. Gauthier - (Owner of record: Robert L. and Eileen M. <br />Gauthier) - Requests a Special Permit under Section 5.1 of the <br />Zoning By-laws for permission to extend a non -conforming structure <br />in an R-3 zoning district on property located at 9 Samoset Road <br />(Map 125, Block 70) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: C. Hawver, M. Makunas, J. Friel <br />Mr. Gauthier represented his application. He presented plans to - <br />the Board for a greenhouse addition to the master bedroom. He <br />explained that the addition will be above a bulkhead and supported <br />by sonar tubes. No comments were received from abutters. <br />Mr. Friel moved to grant the Special Permit as requested. Mr. <br />Makunas seconded. All agreed. <br />Members of the Board reviewed correspondence and signed Decisions. <br />Elinor Walsh <br />
