Board of Appeals - Minutes - January 10,1990 Page 2. <br />i <br />`i <br />The property adjacent to this to the west of Whitings Road <br />rs�currently owned. by the state and is available f9t recreational <br />uses by anybody in the Commonwealth. There is no parking anywhere <br />for uses of the park except along Route 28. People utilizing this <br />park are likel., to utilize the walk system that they have in this <br />development. . <br />The Planning Board has reviewed it both in their By-law <br />Special Permit as Condition 19 and by way of a letter that they <br />have transmitted to the Board of Appeals that they are in favor <br />of this type.of variance and design. <br />The project has 180 condominium units. The Section 9.3.5.6C <br />indicates that the trip generation calculated should be based <br />upon 7.2 trips per day per town house and condominium units. <br />This times two is 1,296 trips. This is split by 2 because of half <br />the units on the left and half on the right which equals 648 <br />trips. This put them into the requirement of item C. F, <br />Mr. Hanrahan questioned exactly what they were proposing <br />to do. <br />They are proposing to relocate the sidewalks from the side <br />of the road to the center of the development. Plans were present- <br />ed and a written proposal was submitted to the Board of Appeals. <br />46 There were no comments from the public. <br />Mr. Makunas moved to grant the Irequest with the addition that <br />the sidewalk will be installed along the southerly si6e of the <br />entrance road from Route 28 to the sidewalk extending from cluster 3, <br />as shown on the master site plan, across the road to cluster 5. <br />William Hanrahan seconded. <br />All agreed. <br />Harold C57.en - Requests a Special Permit under Section 174- <br />25.I.9 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to construct a timber <br />walkway in an R-3 zoning district on property located at 51 S. <br />Waterline Drive (Map 120, Block 145) and Waterline South Drive <br />(Map 120, Block 147): Owner of record: Christopher Burden, TR) <br />The proposed structure is designed to provide access to Creat <br />River Cove for property at 51 S.
