It is zoned commercial all the way up the street. <br />Patricia Francoeur asked if the owner was going to supply <br />security lighting and restrict parking on Route 130. She <br />also expressed concern over the fact that the owner of the <br />property does not seem to have the money to clean up the <br />area and would like to see the dumosters placed elsewhere. <br />She also asked how much more of a strain It would be on the <br />police and fire departments as well as the water supply. <br />Leon Pocknett stated that he lives next door and has heard <br />the comments people have said and agree with the residents. <br />He said with a club. even non-alcoholic the fact remains <br />that there is nothing for the young people of Mashpee to do <br />and they will gather. He also expressed concern over the <br />already heavy traffic on Route 130. <br />Elias McQuaid. Health Agent explained that the existing_ <br />structure will have to be re -engineered for a Title 5 <br />system. and the water will have to be retested and used for <br />non -consumption. <br />John Frlel asked if it was to open as a restaurant would it <br />have to go through this process as well. <br />Mr. McQuaid stated it would. <br />• Heide Trottier stated that she is not a member of AA but <br />that we did need to offer these people a place to go. <br />Marilyn Jackson from Oak Hollow expressed disappointment <br />that Diane Cloutier who is the present owner of the building <br />was not there. She said she is concerned with the rubbish <br />and the apparance of the outside of the building. <br />Richard Rando said that the town should not view this area <br />as a piece of paper and should look at it as abuttina <br />property which is residential. <br />Mrs. Atkinson was questioned as to whether they would <br />consider making the minimum ace 21. <br />Mr. Tanaglio stated that he thought that it would be unfair <br />to not give the 18 year olds the same opportunity. <br />The question was raised as to who will bring the building up <br />to code. <br />
