Hanrahan <br />5. <br />Attorney Kevin Kirrane represented the Applicant and explained that <br />he was detained by the Planning Board. <br />He said that he had applied for a Special Permit and may also need <br />a Variance. He explained that the construction of additions to the home <br />has been performed. The structures were built without proper permits. <br />Wm. Hawck, Asst. Building Inspector, said he had discovered the <br />violations and informed Mr. Benison that a Special Permit would be <br />required. There was discussion of illegal building. <br />Ms. Hawver read a letter from Dorothy Stone, an abutter, objecting <br />to the work being done without permits. Positive comments were received <br />from two direct abutters. <br />There was discussion for the need for a Variance and the Board <br />determined that a Variance was not necessary. Mr. Kirrane submitted <br />a request for withdrawal. <br />Mr. Hanrahan moved to accept the withdrawal. Mr. Makunas seconded. <br />All agreed. <br />Mr. Hanrahan moved to grant the Special Permit. Mr. Makunas seconded. <br />All agreed. <br />David J. Holden - (Owner of record: David J. and Marcia Holden) <br />Request a Variance under Section 174-33 of the Zoning By-laws for <br />permission to vary the setbacks in an R-3 zoning district on property <br />located at 62 Bayview Rdad'(Map 119, Block 52) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: C. Hanrahan <br />David Sanicki of Cape S Islands Surveying represented the applicant. <br />He requested permission to withdraw the Variance request and explained that <br />Conservation had agreed that the wetlands were not as close to the structure <br />as on the original plans. - <br />Mr. Hanrahan moved to accept the request to withdraw. Mr. Makunas <br />seconded. All agreed. <br />
