Board of Appeals Minutes - October 10, 1990 2. <br />• those on Hooppole Road set back. 40' and those on Hillside Avenue <br />of various setbacks of approximately 259. Ms. Thompson said <br />that the lot would be unbuildable without variance relief. <br />Mr. Makunas moved to grant the Variance per• Norman Grossman <br />plans dated Sept. 5, 1990. Mr•. Hanrahan seconded. All agreed. <br />Thomas A. Moraado: (Owner of record: Alexander <br />Mitrokostas TR) - Requests a Special Permit under• Section <br />174-25.E.1 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to operate a <br />video rental store in a C-2 zoning district on pr•oper•ty located <br />at 401 Nathan Ellis Highway and 34 Sassacus Road (Map 72, Blocks <br />57 and 58) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: C. Hawver, M. Makunas, W. Hanrahan <br />Mr•. Morgado explained that he had several video rental <br />stores on the Cape. He said the would be selling videos and he <br />has an import business and will sell sweaters, leather goods and <br />packaged confectioneries. <br />Mr•. Hanrahan moved to grant the Special Permit to allow <br />sales of video tapes, sweaters, leather goods and packaged <br />confectioneries. Mr•. Makunas seconded. All agreed. <br />• Boar•d of Appeals files: There was discussion of the <br />request from Town Counsel to have the original files on the <br />Little River Boatyard hearing available for a court hearing on <br />Thursday, October• 11, 1990 at Barnstable District Court. The <br />Board stated that the Clerk, William J. Hanrahan, is the <br />official keeper of records and would appear in court. <br />McDonald's Corporation: A member• of the audience asked if <br />the Board would be voting this evening and Ms. Hawver explained <br />that the Board was awaiting further information and would not be <br />voting this evening. Ms. Hawver named Mr•. Govani as the <br />Associate Member to sit on the McDonald's application. <br />Minutes: Mr. Makunas moved to accept the minutes of <br />September• 26, 1990. Mr. Hanrahan seconded. All agreed. <br />There was discussion of a joint meeting with the Planning <br />Board on Wednesday, October•17, 1990. <br />Mr. Hanrahan moved to adjourn.
