BOARD OF APPEALS <br />• MINUTES <br />MAY 10, 1989 <br />At 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 1989 the Board of Appeals held a <br />meeting at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board members present and acting <br />throughout were: William Hanrahan, Cheryl Hawver, Michael Makunas, <br />Edward Govoni and Richard Halpern. .Douglas Boyd, Building Inspector, <br />was in attendance. <br />John Pastuszak - (Owner of Record: Roland L. and Annette Wilson) <br />Requests a Special Permit under Section 5 of the Zoning By-laws for <br />permission to construct a single family residence in an R-3 zoning district <br />on property located at 7 Wilson's Grove (Map 118, Block 101) Mashpee, MA. <br />John Pastuszak - (Owner of Record: Roland L. and Annette Wilson) <br />Requests a Variance under Section 7.4 of the Land Space Requirements for <br />permission to vary the lot coverage and setback requirements in an R-3 <br />zoning district on property located at 7 Wilson's Grove (Map 118, Block <br />101) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: W. Hanrahan, C. Hawver, M. Makunas <br />Mr. Pastuszak represented his petition. He reviewed plans of the <br />75' x 90' lot which he explained was the largest in the area. The proposed <br />house location requires a variance on front and side setbacks as well <br />as lot coverage. Mr. Hanrahan questioned the deck area and Mr. Pastuszak <br />stated it will be a deck -patio and he did not know if it would have railings. <br />Water service to the lot will be provided by Highwood Water and a present <br />cesspool for the adjoining lot will be removed. <br />Mr. Pastuszak presented the Board with 8 letters from abutters in <br />favor of the Petitions. There was no opposition from abutters. <br />Mr. Hanrahan moved to grant the Special Permit. Ms. Hawver seconded. <br />All agreed. <br />Mr. Makunas moved to grant a Variance of 5' for the sideline setback, <br />7' for the front line setback and permit lot coverage of 1,682 square <br />feet. Ms. Hawver seconded. All agreed. <br />Drew Realty Trust - (Owner of record: Robert F. and Emily C. Hayes) - <br />Request a Variance under Sections 7.4 and 11C of the Zoning By-laws for <br />permission to vary the front yard setback and lot coverage requirements <br />and to build within the A.C.E.C. on property located in an R-3 zoning <br />district at 19 Tide Run (Map 126, Block 41) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: W.
