Prior to the hearing, the Board received comments and correspondence from <br /> various Town boards, commissions, committees and officials. + <br /> 6. The Petitioner is a Massachusetts non-profit corporation and ars affiliate of <br />' Habitat for Humanity International. Accordingly, the jurisdictional i <br /> requirements under 760 CMR 56.04(4) a) (e) have been satisfied. <br /> . The subsidizing agency is the Department of Housing & Community <br /> Development DHCD . Per a Determination ofProject Eligibility Letter(PEI ) <br /> dated December 24, 2014,project eligibility under the Local Initiative Program <br /> (LII ) was granted. Accordingly, the jurisdictional requirements of 760 CM <br /> 56.04(4) (a)-(e) have been satisfied. <br /> . The Town of Mashpee owns the Property. Accordingly, the jurisdictional <br /> requirements of 760 CMR 56.04(a) have been satisfied. <br /> 9. At Special Town Meeting on October 21, 2013, under Article 16, a majority of <br /> eligible voters,authorized that"...hose Parcels shown on the FY2013 Mashpee <br /> Assessors' Maps as Map 69, Block 1 (108 Orchard Road) and Map 69, Bloch <br /> (132 Quinaquisset Avenue) shall not be held by the Town as conservation <br /> land; and transferred to the Board of Selectmen to solicit proposals for the <br /> development of the parcels as affordable housing units. <br /> 10. On January 7, 2014, Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod, Inc. submitted its <br /> proposal to the Board of Selectmen for the development ofthe affordable <br /> housing units. <br /> 11. On February 10, 2014, the Board of Selectmen voted to accept the Petitioner's <br /> proposal and entered into an agrement with the Petitioner. <br /> 12. September, 2014 the Board of Selectmen and the Petitioner entered into a Lard <br /> Disposition Agreement. <br /> 13. On ,December 24, 2014, DHCD sent a letter in approval of the Petition for <br /> project eligibility under the LIP. <br /> 14. on January 15, 2015, the Petitioner filed a Petition for a Comprehensive Permit . <br /> with the Town Clerk. The Town Clerk retained the Petition with original <br /> signatures. The Petitioner delivered the remainder of the date-stamped copies <br /> to the ZA office. <br /> 2 <br />
