v <br /> AcMunts-Payables: Mrs. Botsford presented the warrants for signature. The warrants for signature <br /> tonight are for the month of June 2013 and total as follows: $58,227.35 for 4001, $5,940.00 for Section <br /> 81 $15,620.00 for M VP, $110,359.45 for Asher's Path Apartments and $9,740.28 for the Housing <br /> Assistance Program. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that vire have all residents paid in full at all developments, with the exception of <br /> the Asher's Path resident that is in the process of eviction. We expect to have occupancy within 1 week <br /> or so. We have one vacancy at Breezy Acres and a couple at Asher"s Path. The process is underway for <br /> selecting new residents for all units. A motion was made by Ms. Allen and seconded by Mr. <br /> halett to accept the treasurer's report as presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> EXECUTIVE DIS E T I ` REPORT: <br /> RT: <br /> Mrs. Botsford emailed members her written report for June and added the following report: <br /> • It has been super busy with annual recertifications at Asher"s Path <br /> (further updates later in the meeting) <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Breezy Acres Expansion/Great Cove Community Update: Mrs. Botsford gage the board an update on the <br /> progress that has been made. one item that will need the board's attention is a change order to have <br /> Robert B. our tie the existing 6 units into the new system the actual tie in was net part of the original <br /> proposal). DHD has been at the construction meetings, so they are aware of it. The total additional <br /> cost will be $14,276.00. The board will need to Grote on this at net meeting, as Mrs. Botsford didn't have <br /> 8 hours' notice to get it onto tonight's agenda. The official ground breaking ceremonies will probably . <br /> not take place until sometime in August, due to everyone's vacation schedules. Things will be moving <br /> along throughout the summer for both projects. <br /> Town land available: Mrs. Botsford checked with Nass Housing Partnership (MHP) about the possibility of <br /> getting a feasibility study done for the Ashumet Toad parcel across from Heritage Park 19.14 acres). <br /> After sending information to therm (sent to Mrs. Botsford from Town Planner Torn Fudala), MHP would not <br /> grant the study. There are too many obstacles. This was shared with Joyce Mason, Town Manager, who <br /> stated she would see if the Board of Selectman would be interested in a different piece of property <br /> (Route 8Mashpee . Mr. Harsch suggested that we look into other ways to increase affordable housing <br /> stock, sine it seems vire may be getting the run-around with the town. He suggested buying single <br /> family units and rehabbing them to rent. Mrs. Botsford explained the Procurement Laver requirements and <br /> that she believes a Request for Proposals would have to be issued. She will get in touch with MHP to see <br /> if they can offer assistance with that and will follow up with the board at the next meeting. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> --�Y- <br /> -----Capita 1-Irovement Plan FY1 -1 : Mrs. Botsford provided members with a printout of the proposed <br /> Capital Improvement Plan for FY 2014— FY 2017 as well as reviewing the projects for Fiscal Year 2013 <br /> which have already been completed. Mrs. Botsford explained each gear's projects in detail and the <br /> reasoning for the priorities. She stated that come fiscal year 2016 or 2017, some things may need to be <br /> prioritized, but based on the things we know right now, she is recommending this plan to be approved <br /> and submitted to DH D. After review and some discussion, a motion was made by Nor. Har ch and <br /> seconded by Mr. Shackett to approve a proposed Capital Improvement Plan and submit t <br /> DHCD for approval..
