Mrs, Botsford <br /> reported that annual inspections have been scheduled for later this month. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that Bob Writtenhour called her about the presentation for the <br /> Selectman and informed her that they decided to support the transfer of land without <br /> any kind of a presentation at this time. In addition to transfer of the land, they have <br /> approved the formation of an affordable housing committee. They will sponsor both <br /> items at the Town Meeting. Mrs. Botsford will be available for any questions/concerns <br /> at the Torn Meeting on May 1. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that she went to the monthly meetings for SMBDA <br /> (Southeastern Mass. Executive Director's Association), SHAD (Small Housing Authority <br /> Directors Organization), CRAM (Cape Rental Assistance Managers), and CHOO (Cape <br /> Housing officials Organization). Mrs. Botsford reported that SHADO is working as <br /> group to make sure everyone's management ent plan is in compliance with the latest DHC <br /> requirements and CRAM is working together to help each other streamline the new <br /> Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, Mrs. Botsford reported that CHOO is <br /> working together on applying as a County for section 8 vouchers and she has been <br /> assisting Barnstable Housing Authority in gathering the necessary information for the <br /> application. (Barnstable Housing Authority will be the ..lead agency".) The application <br /> will be submitted by April 24. Mrs. Botsford reported that she attended the tiro-day <br /> New Executive Director Training in Westborough which was very beneficial. she also <br /> attended the Housing Summit last Saturday at Cape Cod Community College, which <br /> was also beneficial. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that she has been working on designing a computer database <br /> for the new Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program for Mashpee Housing Authority. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that DHCD has announced that they will reissue MVP vouchers <br /> as they turn over (before they were not re-issued) so she needs to open a neer gaiting <br /> list. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that we have 3 AHVP vouchers, 20 MVP Mobile, 27 Project <br /> Based Vouchers, 13 Section 8 Certificates, 8 Section 8 Vouchers and 2 Housing Choice <br /> Vouchers leased in Mashpee. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Update Qn TAP Grant: Mrs. Botsford reported that she and Laura Shufelt will meet orae <br /> more before the Town Meeting to prepare for any questions. If it is noted to transfer <br /> the land to the housing authority, vire will then meed to proceed with exploring ing funding <br /> sources. <br />
