Board of Appeals Minutes - October 23, 1991 17 .
r
R . Bevacqua : He already gave what he felt was necessary to
give to him . He ' s going to you to seek
relief . . . .
W. Hanrahan : That ' s what I ' m saying .
R . Bevacqua : That ' s what I meant to say. These people are
here in opposition of him getting that relief .
Both sides do have to be listened to .
W . Hanrahan : Nobody is disputing that . The comment was
originally made who was a petitioner before
the Board, who has come before the Board .
Legally the standing has been that it has been
only one petitioner before the Board . The
petition for the opposition was heard in
Superior Court . I ' m not saying they don ' t
have standing before the Board but they
weren ' t the petitioners before the Board .
R . Bevacqua : I ' m just bringing in some points of law too .
W. Hanrahan : The law is the only thing we have to go by.
Final comments?
Y. Landry : Nothing about the lavatories?
W. Hanrahan : It wasn ' t in his letter.
F. McQuaid : 90 days wasn ' t an issue .
W. Hanrahan : This is a letter from the Cape Cod Commission
dated July 22 stating that you ' re in
compliance with the first condition .
? You ' ve all done a good job .
( R . Bevacqua approached the Board and passed out business
cards . )
R . Bevacqua : Needless to say a lot has been said . . . .
M . Makunas ; Is this about this?
R . Bevacqua : It ' s one of the issues .
M . Makunas : Sit down and talk .
W . Hanrahan : Want to take a brief recess?
M . Makunas : Why don ' t you hang around . It ' s tough to get
us all together.
