He said the MCAS Resolution asking the legislature to <br /> postpone passing the MCAS test as a graduation requirement <br /> was voted in. The second Resolution dews with MASC <br /> opposition to the use of a passing grade on the 1 Oth grade <br /> Language Arts and Math MCAS tests as a requirement for <br /> graduation from high school and that MASC urge the Board of <br /> Education not to link MCAS results with the granting of high <br /> school diplomas. This Resolution was not voted in. <br /> IK. Specifically Mr. F'luery and Mr. McGown discussed the FY2002 Capital <br /> Assigned/ Improvement Prog'am requests. <br /> Unfinished Motion made by Mrs. Lynch, seconded by Mrs. Cook, to submit <br /> Business the foliowing for FY02 Capital Improvements totaling $1,165,800: <br /> S Video Security System - $ 23,800 <br /> System wheelchair Transport Van - 40,000 <br /> Coombs AV Systems Upgrade Intercom - 26,000 <br /> Coombs Upgraded phone System - 503,000 <br /> Quashnet Front Sidewalks & Curbing - 501,000 <br /> Quashnet 'Dennis Courts - 501,000 <br /> Quashnet School Kitchen - 25,000 <br /> Quashnet Upgraded phone System - 36,000 <br /> System Computer Replacement (too units) - 2401,000 <br /> ISS Stadium Press Box - 259000 <br /> SUB TO'N'AL $ 5659800 <br /> Coombs Parking bot 600,000 <br /> GRAND TOTAL $1,165,500 <br /> Discussion followed on the above-listed items. <br /> TE: Unanimous <br />
