MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE - REGULAR MEETING -- NOVEMBER 8, 2000 PAGE <br /> At :15 p.m., the committee tools a break. <br /> The meeting reconvened at 9:25 p.m. <br /> X. 11TH Business 10.1 school Admissions Policy JEE (revi - Mr. Fluery <br /> outlined this policy which added the ability to send an <br /> investigator to a questionable residency. This vill be voted upon <br /> at the December meeting. <br /> 10.2 Graduation Exercises Policy IKFB (revised) - Mr. F l er <br /> said this policy was revised to include that the current School <br /> Cor=ittee may grant a former School Committee member <br /> permission to present a diploma to a member of his/her <br /> immediate family. This revised policy will be voted upon at the <br /> December meeting. <br /> 10.3 Grants from Federal Government and Other sources <br /> Policy DDE - Mr. Fluery noted that per this policy, the school <br /> Committee will be approving future grants before they are sent <br /> out. <br /> 10.4 Admission Policv - School Activities - Mr. Fluery briefly <br /> discussed this proposed policy which would allow school <br /> Committee members to attend all school activities with a pass <br /> free of charge. Mr. Fluery will draft a proposal for the December <br /> meeting. <br /> X1. Committee 11.1 Sub--Committee Fie orts <br /> Reports <br /> 11.1.1 Negotiations - Mrs. Lynch said she Mr. Flu ry and <br /> several teachers and administrators attended <br /> N SD EC-sponsored workshop on teacher <br /> evaluation on November 7th, ho re rer, she stressed <br /> it will take one year to develop this evaluation <br /> process. Mrs. Lopez volunteered to serve on this <br /> committee as discussions begin on evaluations. <br /> 11.1.2 High School - Mrs. Cook said Clover Landscape will <br /> be drawing plans for the Memorial Garden with <br /> review in two weeks. <br /> 11.13 Elementary_ School Mr. Caswell met with Mrs. <br /> Doyle arra Mr. Tippo and discussed the playground <br /> as well as computer creeds. <br /> 11.1.4 Curriculum - M r . cook said this committee met to <br /> discuss the World Language and Math curriculums. <br /> Thein next meeting will be in February 2001. <br /> t <br />
