MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE "" REGULAR MEETING - NOVEMBER I , 2000 'AGE <br /> 11.1.S.Finance - Mrs. Mills suggested roving the <br /> scheduled November 21st budget meeting date. It <br /> was decided to include aspart of the December 6th <br /> regular meeting. <br /> 11.2 External Reports <br /> 1. 1.2.1. Cape Cod Collaborative - Mr. Caswell said there <br /> was no meeting. <br /> 11.2.2 Leisure Services - Mrs. Lopez said this committee <br /> met and discussed integrating special education <br /> students in after-school programs. Also discussed <br /> was servicing youths reeds, i.e., teenage <br /> population. <br /> 11.2.3 Safe Transportation Task Force - Mrs. Lynch <br /> reported on the meeting held on October 25thFrere <br /> discussion regarding First Student, Inc. (Bruce <br /> Transportation), per the transportation contract, <br /> was to have their office located in I lashpee as well <br /> as a published Mashpee telephone number. <br /> 11.2. Personnel Committee -- Mrs. Lopez said this <br /> committee is.meeting on an "as needed" basis. <br /> 11.2.5 Boosters Club - Mrs. Mills reported the Boosters <br /> Club has been busy during the upcoming holiday <br /> season. Also, the Post--Prom Party Silent Auction at <br /> 11 ashpee High School is scheduled for Sunday, <br /> November 19th at 2:0 .m. in the cafeteria. <br /> 11.2.6 School Lunch Committee - Mrs. Cooly said this <br /> committee met on October 20th and discussed <br /> "lingering issues." The milk price for students <br /> increased from $.3o to $.35; salad costs for adults, <br /> will meet every three months during the school <br /> year, dishwasher specs are ori-going. As mentioned <br /> earlier in these minutes, the Quashnet School is <br /> fully staffed in the cafeteria, however, a supervisor <br /> here needs to be hired. <br /> 11.2.71nd.ian Education - Mrs. Lopez reported there are <br /> two committees - the first, an Indian Parent <br /> committee headed by Joan Tavares and the second, <br /> the Tribal Council has begun an education pro ram <br /> with Stephanie Tobey leading that committee. firs. <br />
