EDIC— 11 Acre Site/Grant Amendment: The above referenced agenda topic was deferred at this time. NEW BUSINESS: Appointment of Administrative Assistant—Conservation: Pauline Beaulieu was the recommended candidate for appointment to the full-time position of Administrative Assistant to the Conservation . Department. Ms. Beaulieu has work experience which has included over thirteen years in the administrative secretarial field. She has excellent communication skills and a strong background in computers. • Motion made by Selectman Taylor to appoint Pauline Beaulieu to the full-time position of Administrative Assistant to the Conservation Department as recommended. Motion seconded by Selectman Green. VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. Approval of RFP—Senior Center: For the Selectmen's review was a copy of the Senior Center Request for Proposal reflecting a proposed budget of$2.1 million dollars. The sum of $190,000 was previously appropriated to the Building Committee for design services. The project budget totals $2,290,000. It was noted that the Selectmen recently approve a budget of$1.9 million for the project. The budget of$2,100,000 was noted to be all-inclusive. A site in the area of the Fire Station and Boys and Girls Club has been selected for the new Senior Center. The Committee is scheduled to meet with appropriate abutters on Tuesday of this week. Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the Senior Center RFP as presented in the amount of$2,100,000 as recommended. Motion seconded by Selectman Uveille. VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0.
