BOARD OF SELECTMEN MINUTES s MONDAY, MAY 2 , 1988 - REGULAR SESSION .Page NEW BUSINESS 1 . lir. Gottlieb moved to execute the warrant for the Special Town Election for Tune 11 , 1988 . Mr. Carter seconded the motion. All were in favor. 2 . Mr. Carter moved to appoint the following lifeguards; Laurie Quilty - Head Lifeguard, Holly Souza - Head Lifeguard, William Thompson - Head Lifeguard, Lucille Mo sass - Beach Attendant , Erika Brown - Beach Attendant , Mary Rockwal - Substitute Beach Attendant . Mr. Gottlieb seconded the motion . All were in favor. . Mr. Carter moved to authorize the Historical Commission as the Town Agency responsible for the ookwa.y Chapel. Mr. Gottlieb seconded the motion . All were in favor. 4 . Communication from Howard Hort-on -- Mr. Carter moved to execute resolution and order regarding communications between town employees and applicants for cable license. Mr. Gottlieb seconded the motion. All were in favor. OTHER NEW BUSINESS 1 . Mr. Lawrence suggested the Board get together to look at town buildings to see the condition of these buildings that are in poor condition to determine the possibility of a maintenance crew to handle the upkeep. 2 . Mrs , Jacobson informed the Board of an invitation to a picnic to be held by the Mashpee Senior Citizens Association on June 8 , 1988 at 1 : 00 . Mr. Hanson stated that a change has been made with the Personnel Department move - this department will be moved into the Portable Offices and the Selectmen ' s Office will remain in in its current location . Parks & F ecreat i-on Department may be able to use the current Personnel office space. i4 . A letter received from Christopher Burden of New Seabury Corporation requesting a Special Town Meeting concerning two articles . Mr. Carter moved to hold a Special Town Meeting on Tune 27 , 1988 to include two articles submitted by New Seabury. Mr. Hanson seconded the rnot ion. All were i favor. Mr'. Lawrence obs twine from the vote. F .
