i <br /> i <br /> NUNUTES July 25, 1996 6 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "I would recommend the Board grant a variance not <br /> requiring a new pere test but I would eertaly as you to consider redesigning the septic <br /> system to comply as closely to the new Title V requirements as possible." <br /> Mr. S nieki stated, "If we were to conform with the new Title V it will require <br /> r <br /> strip-out. <br /> Mr. Doherty stated, "'The pert tests were performed on the other end of the lot." <br /> "If the owner would life to come in and plead financial hardship then she is welcome to.'� <br /> Mr. Cram agreed with Mr. Doherty stating, "At a minimum, I would like to see a <br /> new pert test in the proposed area of the leaching facility. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to deny the request, Mr. Crain seconded. Mr. Bah <br /> opposed. <br /> Chris Tufts - Aut <br /> Mr. Tuffs was in attendance. <br /> Mr. Tufts stated, "I am very upset with representatives of Augat's not being here." <br /> "I feel I have been deceived for months." "They have conveniently eliminated the T <br /> easement from plans, things like that." "when they did these last wells (show to the <br /> Board on a reap previously submitted by Augat , I believe they were not on the maps last <br /> time, they just told us that they had some hits and didn't have some hits." "They found <br /> derivatives ofT.C.E. in most of triose wells." <br /> Mr. Ball stated, "I would recommend the Board request Weston & Sampson to <br /> review Augats reports or ask they attend an upcoming meeting." <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "The D.E.P. Division ofWater Supply sent a letter to the <br /> Mashpee water District that states they are of the opinion the contaminated pl sae is not <br /> heading towards the T4 well." "Obviously, the water District is concerned about their T4 <br /> ell." <br /> Mr. Ball stated, "I will contact the Executive Secretary and question him as to <br /> whether- there are funds available to retain Weston & Sampson to -review the material <br /> Au at has submitted arra if there are an questions have them make a list and submit it to <br /> g <br /> Augat's prior to the meeting." <br />
