9 <br /> Board ofSelectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> June 18,2012 <br /> Polis ;-C Rim on: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to place the above referenced topic on the <br /> Selectmen's agenda. <br /> Motion seconded b .Selectman Cahalae. <br /> Unanimous. 540 <br /> Roll Call vote: <br /> Selectman Richardson,yes Selectman Sherman,yes <br /> Selectman Taylor,yes selectman Cahalne,yes <br /> Selectman o'Haran yes opposed,none <br /> At the last meeting,the Board of Selectmen voted set policy with regards to the <br /> Annual Reorganization o Elected and Appointed Boards and Committees t <br /> Y <br /> ensure the.effective management of all Boards and Committees. <br /> It was noounced that it was the intention of the Board to adhere to the mandates <br /> of the Town Charter by setting policy to allow for the rotation of officers so that <br /> all members would lave the oppoMmity to participate in the doges of <br /> Chakmanship. The intention was not meant to be autocratic. Under the Charter, <br /> the Board of Seinen has the Chief Executive Powers of the Town of Mahpee. <br /> It is hopeful that all boards and committee take to challenge to make their board <br /> stronger and m rme their knowledge-base annually by reorganizing. <br /> Boat.&M.Ceremony: <br /> Last Sat r4y, a ce emo y was held at the mates Cove Boat ramp to fionor <br /> Edward Baler, a dedicated envirorumentalist for the Town of Mashpee.
