Mr. Gobell suggested that seasonal areas could he phased in at a later time. There <br /> was some discussion regarding the existing cluster systems and Chairman Fudala pointed out <br /> that systems at New S abury, willo bend and-Mashpee Commons would play a large role in the <br /> planning. Regarding the criteria list, and weighting the criteria, it was noted that attenuation <br /> should be a consideration and it was suggested that failing septic system would be a bigger <br /> priority. Mr. Gregg stated that it would be challenging to track the failed systems without <br /> enforcement areas and Mr. Fudala noted that Summerwood Condominiums were a high priority <br /> due to their failed system. Mr. Eichner suggested that water use figures would be a better <br /> indicator of seasonality. Mr. Santos recommended focusing on the areas with highest density <br /> that were least likely to be unproved by the shellfish program. Mr. Gobell and Mr. Gregg will <br /> further discuss the criteria and weighting sole to be reviewed by the Commission, Mr. Santos <br /> emphasized the need to develop the plan, sticking to criteria, phasing and providing the <br /> reasoning for the plan in order to present it to the public. <br /> Activity Report from Sever Commission Administrator- <br /> -Report on Barnstable CAC Meeting and other Meetings Attended-Mr. Gobell reported that <br /> the Cape Cod Commission announced at the Barnstable meeting their plans to meet with each of <br /> the toms to discuss the AVIA. Mr. Gobell added that the Cape Cod Commission stated they <br /> would not approve any town's plans without a signed IMA between sharing communities of <br /> watershed. The Chair expressed concern about their policy and Mr. Lowes and Mr. Gregg <br /> recommended following up with the Cape Cod Commission for clarification. There was also <br /> discussion regarding the water District's future role, Chau-man Fudala recommended that a vote <br /> be taken to send a letter to the Cape Cod Commission objecting to their policy requiring an IMA <br /> prior to plan approval. Mr. Gobell recommended first talking with Cape Cod Commission <br /> officials. <br /> -MMR wastewater Study Report to Selectmen-Mr. Gobell will send the PowerPoint <br /> presentation to the Commissioners.r issioners. Mr. Gobell reported-that-there may be a possible tie in to the <br /> base to utilize their reserve capacity. Mr. Gobell stated that Sandwich expressed interest in <br /> utilizing capacity similar to Mashpee and that Falmouth expressed interest in discharge capacity. <br /> Additional information was expected over the next few months.
