All voted unanimously. <br /> The voucher was signed by the Commissioners. <br /> The Chair inquired whether the Commission wished to have Mr. Lombardo attend the next <br /> meeting which will include a presentation from L SCS regarding the solute transport modeling. <br /> It was noted that Don Walter from LSCS would offer a 1/2 hour presentation about the solute <br /> transport model and be available for questions. "Where was discussion as to whether attendance at <br /> the meeting was necessary to serve as a consultant to develop scenarios for the Plan. It was <br /> determined that, should a PowerPoint presentation be available, the information would be <br /> forwarded to Mr. Lombardo rather than have hire attend next month's meeting. <br /> -SMaST Invoice for Draft waquoit Bay MEP Report for$15,297-Chairman Fudala <br /> confirmed that the draft report had still not been rel eased. }UMass Dartmouth had sent a notice <br /> for payment to the Town. Although the voucher had been signed for payment, Cor nlissioners <br /> were in agreement that the bill not be paid until the draft report was received. <br /> Intermunicipal Issues <br /> -Mike Domenica has been in contact and making progress with Barnstable. He has also begun <br /> working with Selectman L inell Grundrnan in Sandwich. <br /> -Copies of the county funded scientific review of the MEP model were given to Commissioners. <br /> Falmouth-The Chair stated that Falmouth was.still considering an ocean outfall pipe, as well a <br /> reviewing alternative systems. The Chair noted that Falmouth at one time had an ocean outfall <br /> pipe. <br /> Barnstable-leo report <br /> Sandwich leo report <br /> Discussion Items <br /> -Status of Water SewerDistrict-Chairman Fud la reported that the Board of Selectmen'had <br /> invited the Severer Commissioners to attend their Monday, February 27 meeting at :40 p.m. in <br /> order to further discuss the water/Sewer operation. Selectman O'Hara indicated that the'meeting <br /> was intended to bring everyone up-to-date rid to di s uss effectiveness and the dire tion.-of the <br /> Commission ion and to address other issues at the meeting. The Chair stated that the water District <br /> had been invited to attend the Sewer-Commission meetings but had only attended one meeting. <br /> The Chair emphasized the expense to the taxpayers arra the need for the water District to <br /> become.involved now, gather than waste the 10 years of study that had already been completed. <br />
