prepared by the fee account. She reminded them that this was based on last year's budget figures
since our budget for Fiscal Year 2019 has not yet been approved. A motion was made by Kevin
Shackett and seconded by Jill Allen to accept the Treasurer's Report as presented. The
motion carried.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT & UPDATES:
Mrs. Botsford stated updated the board as follows:
• All W2s are processed and 1099s are being processed now.
• Mrs. Botsford sent out a survey on behalf of some Homeyer village
residents that want to start having some social activities. She will follow up
with a meeting with residents to go over the results of the survey.
• DHCD will be funding about $8,000.00 of our unit turnover costs in Capital
Funds. The reports and paperwork has been sent to them for
reimbursement.
• Soon the annual request for records destruction will be submitted to the
state and after approved, shredding will be done of old records.
• The quarterly Housing Assistance Program report was sent to the Town
Manager and the Chair of the CPC. A copy was provided to all board
members.
• Mrs. Botsford provided the board with a copy of the Agreed Upon
Procedures (AUP) report which she just received today. There were no
findings. This is our first publishing year, so this report will go on the
state's website. Everyone remarked that it was wonderful and the chair
recommended sending a copy of the report to the Town Manager.
• Mrs. Botsford reported that DHCD is requiring that the boards re-vote on
the Brewster and Mashpee management agreement since the amounts have
changed slightly. Mrs. Botsford remarked that even though she is entitled
to move salary she is declining that and would like the board's vote to
acknowledge that. Upon motion by Jill Allen and second by Lisa
Meizinger it was voted to approve the updated Management Agreement
with Brewster Housing Authority indicating a term of five years, to end
October 31, 2023, for a total management fee of$66,145.00 per year.
The Executive Director's salary will remain the same as submitted with
the Fiscal Year 2019 budget. The vote was unanimous.
• Mrs. Botsford reported that she did go to look at one property, on Route
130, as a potential relocation site for the housing authority's offices. The
space was big enough but had some pros and cons. She would like to look
at a couple more properties to see what else is available.
