7 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 5, 2019 <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Discussion of Planning Board Correspondence: Adopting a Board of Selectmen Road Layout Policy Consistent <br /> with the Planning Board Road Layout Policy: <br /> Evan Lehrer, Town Planner reviewed his memorandum of June 26, 2019 regarding the Board of Selectmen <br /> Road Layout Policy. At their meeting of June 5, 2019 the Planning Board reviewed the Selectmen's Policy and <br /> recommended comments to remain consistent with the Planning Board Road Layout Policy. <br /> Motion made by Selectman O'Hara to accept the Board of Selectmen Road Layout Policy amended to <br /> incorporate the Planning Board's updates for consistency. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Opposed, none <br /> As per Board of Selectmen Policy#034: Announcement of Declassified Board of Selectmen Executive Session <br /> Minutes: October 31, 2016• November 14 2016; April 24, 2017; February 11, 2019: <br /> In accordance with Board of Selectmen Policy#034; Declassification of Executive Session Minutes it was <br /> disclosed the Chairman of the Board of Selectmen reviewed and released the following Executive Session <br /> minutes from the following Board of Selectmen meetings; <br /> October 31, 2016 November 14, 2016 <br /> April 24, 2017 February 11, 2019. <br /> The declassified determination was duly announced at the Selectmen's Meeting. No vote was required. <br /> Discussion and Approval of the Following Special Event, Temporary Sign Permit Applications: <br /> Special Event; Church Without Walls Communis Park& Gazebo August 28 2019 6:30-8:30 pm: <br /> Mashpee Baptist Church, Lola McCray: <br /> Lola McCray was in attendance on behalf of the Mashpee Baptist Church to request the Board approve the <br /> Special Event Application for the annual Church without Walls to be held at the Mashpee Community <br /> Park gazebo on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. <br /> All necessary paperwork was in order for the Selectmen's approval. With the exception of the DPW requiring <br /> the clean-up of any litter, and a cleaning fee for use of the public restrooms there were no other regulatory <br /> comments. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to approve the Special Event Application of the Mashpee <br /> Baptist Church for the Church without Walls event on August 28, 2019 as referenced. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Opposed, none <br />
