27 <br />Report of the Highway Surveyor <br />To the Honorable Board of Selectmen <br />and the Citizens of the Town of Mashpee <br />I hereby submit my Annual Report as Highway Surveyor <br />for the year ending December 31, 1961. <br />Chapter 90 Construction work on Cotuit Road consisted <br />of filling and being tack coated. <br />Chapter 90 Maintenance work on Route 130 was seal <br />coated with 3/8ths stone .and the shoulders of the road were <br />brushed. Asher's Path was widened, straightened, sprayed <br />with Penatrant and seal coated. <br />Chapter 81 consisted of seal coating on Cotuit Road, <br />South Sandwich Road, Meeting House Road, Monomoscoy <br />Road, Mashpee Neck Road, Falmouth Road, all other roads <br />were patched and had general maintenance. <br />Highway General monies were spent on Asher's Path <br />Road and all other Roads. <br />Snow and Ice is one thing that no one can figure on, you <br />never know when and how much it will cost, but I am able <br />to keep the Highways open. <br />In closing, I wish to thank the Selectmen, Town Account- <br />ant, State Engineers and all other departments for their <br />cooperation with me in carrying out my work. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />EDWIN L.
