70 <br />Article 41. To see if the Town will vote to accept the <br />layout of Old Brickyard Road, so called, running in a northerly <br />direction from Route 151 to the southerly end of John's Pond <br />for a distance of 1,004 feet in the John's Pond Development <br />for a Town way and will authorize and instruct the Select- <br />men to take by purchase or eminent domain in behalf of <br />the Town the land or interest in land within the lines of <br />said layout for this purpose and will raise and appropriate <br />a sum of $100.00 for land damages incurred or take any <br />other action thereon. <br />Action: Motion amended to read that; to see if the Town <br />will vote to accept the layout of Old Brickyard Road, so called, <br />running in a northerly direction from Route 151 to the <br />southerly end of John's Pond for a distance of 1,004 feet in <br />the John's Pond Development for a Town way and will author- <br />ize and instruct the Selectmen to take by purchase or eminent <br />domain in behalf of the Town, the land or interest in land <br />within the lines of said layout for this purpose and will <br />raise and appropriate a sum of $1.00 for land damages <br />incurred. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the <br />Selectmen to appoint a Library Building Needs Committee <br />consisting of five (5) members including the Chairman of <br />the Board of Library Trustees, to study the need for a new <br />library building and to make known the results of such <br />study, with recommendations, at a future Special Town Meet- <br />ing but not later than the next annual Town Meeting and <br />to appropriate the sum of $500.00 to defray the cost of pre- <br />liminary plans and other committee expenses, or take any <br />other action deemed necessary. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to amend article to <br />read; to see if the Town will vote to instruct the Selectmen to <br />appoint a Library Building Needs Committee consisting of <br />five (5) members including the Chairman of the Board of <br />Library Trustees, to study the need for a new library building <br />and to make known the results of such study, with recom- <br />medations, at a future.
