12 <br />Article 34. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap. <br />propriate, or take from available funds in the Treasury, <br />$250.00 to install and maintain two (2) flood lights at the <br />Mill Pond or take any other action thereon. Cape & Vineyard <br />Electric Company Pole #M242. (Submitted by Park Dept.) <br />More information requested. The Park Dept. did not <br />meet with the Finance Committee. <br />Article 35. To see if the Town will vote to combine the <br />Park and Recreation Committees consisting of five (5) mem. <br />i <br />hers — one to serve one year, two to serve two years, and two <br />to serve three years; all subsequent annual elections for a <br />term of three years. <br />Recommended. <br />Article 36. To see if the Town will vote to employ one <br />full-time man on the Highway Department and fix his salary <br />at $4,500.00; and to raise and appropriate the sum of $4,500.00 <br />or take any other action thereon. <br />Recommended as read. <br />Article 37. To see if the Town will vote to amend Chap- <br />ter 2, Section 1, of Article_ VI of the 1960 Town By -Laws and <br />substitute therefor the following: <br />"The. Finance Comittee shall consist of seven(7) <br />voters of the Town of whom two (2) shall be <br />elected for one year; two (2) for two years, and <br />three (3) for three years. All subsequent annual <br />elections shall be for a term of three years." <br />Recommended as read. <br />Article 38. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- <br />propriate the sum of $73.80 for an office chair for the Police <br />Department. <br />Recommended as read. <br />Article 39. To see if the Town will vote to dismiss the <br />present Library Building Needs Committee, with appreciation, <br />and instruct the Selectmen to appoint a, Library Building <br />Committee of five members by April 1, 1965. <br />Recommended—With thanks to a very good job done by <br />the Library Building Needs Committee. <br />
